Bee Brave Tournament - More Info and Q+A's


  • Sign Up ASAP Once Registration Goes Live - Some Divisions May Fill Up Quickly and there will be no waiting list once a division sells out.


  • Only One Player Per Team Needs to Register


  • The $120 Ticket Price Covers the ENTIRE TEAM COST. This includes...

    • Registration into the Doubles Event where you are guaranteed at least 5 games (read below for details on tournament format)

    • Bee Brave T-Shirt for both partners

    • Free entry into the Singles Tournament! Registration for this will be in person prior to the event and is exclusive to players participating in one of the doubles events. We will have a clipboard laid out for each division and will verify that all players signed up participated in one of the doubles events. There will be separate divisions for men and women.


  • All Players playing in at least one Doubles Event gets a FREE Entry into the Singles (1v1) Tournament on Saturday, February 15, starting around 8:00pm.


  • Start Times could change by 1 to 2 hours from the original schedule. The official start times and schedules for each division will be sent out on Wednesday, March 12.


  • All Results will be Entered into DUPR.


  • Anti-Sandbagging Policy - After each team signs up, we will be looking into the previous tournaments they have played in and if necessary, we will move them to a higher skilled division. If this happens to your team, you will be notified via text and email. Of course, it is impossible to completely eliminate sandbagging and we hope that most teams will fairly rate themselves.   • Facility Specifics - Impact Dynamic Training has 12 indoor courts that has a smooth polyurethane surface. Overall, it is a great facility and the ball bounces very much like a typical outdoor court surface. We will have custom dividers between all of the courts to prevent balls going into other courts.

Bee Brave Tournament Schedule & Format


  • Tournament Schedule and Divisions Offered

    • 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | Men Divisions (3.0 and Below, 3.5, and 4.0)

    • 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. | Mixed Divisions (3.0 and Below, 3.5, and 4.0)

    • 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. | Women Divisions (Beginner, 3.0, and 3.5)

    • 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. | Singles Tournament (Various Divisions Depending on # of Participants)


  • Doubles Event Format


    • 1st Stage - 5 or 6 Group Play Games - Within every division, your team will play against 5 or 6 of the other teams in what we consider "Group Play." Each matchup in the 1st Stage will be one game 11, Win by 2, following standard USA Pickleball Rules.


    • 2nd Stage (IF YOUR TEAM ADVANCES) - Single Elimination Bracket - After the 1st Stage Group Play Games, the top 2/3rds of teams will advance into a seeded single elimination bracket. The seeding will be based on your team's winning % with average game point differential serving as the tiebreaker. Each matchup in the 2nd Stage will be the best 2 out of 3 games with each game playing to 11, Win by 2, following standard USA Pickleball Rules.


  • Singles (1v1) Event Format


    • This Event is COMPLETELY FREE FOR ALL PLAYERS PLAYING IN A DOUBLES EVENT. We will offer Men and Women Divisions for 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 Players. Players will signup for this event in person at Impact Dynamic Training from 6:30pm to 7:45pm on Saturday, March 15.


    • At 8:00pm, the singles tournament will start. The format will be either single or double elimination with all matchups being one game 11, Win by 2, following standard USA Pickleball Rules.


    • There will be no cash prizes for the singles tournament. However, medals will be awarded to the top finishers.
